Silhouette Ring with Holly Strawbridge, Wednesday July 31, 6-9 p.m.

The silhouette ring brings together several essential jewelry techniques - fine precision piercing, precise forming nd fitting of components, and soldered multi-layer construction - into one unique and detailed piece.  The project begins with you practicing and honing detailed sawing skills to decorate the outer layer, followed by learning to form and accurately fit the insert layer.  The final step is mastering sweat soldering to seamlessly join your layers together while completing your one of a kind design.  BASIC METALSMITHING AND TORCH SOLDERING SKILLS REQUIRED.
