Creating a Stone on Stone Setting with Mary Kernahan: Saturday January 31, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Bring your work to a new level with the layered look of stone on stone settings. The technique begins with the creation of a small bezel setting that rests on top of and is secured throiugh a larger cabochon with an attached post.  Oncd that is completed, the larger base stone is drilled to create a precise insertion space to accomodate and secure the top setting and post.  Class will also include discussion of alternate decorative elements and settings in place of the top cabochon. BASIC TORCH SOLDERING SKILLS REQUIRED.  This is a PROCESS class. One session, 3 hours. $65.00 plus supplies (dependent on material choices). Saturday January 3, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
