Gallery Wrapped Bracelet with Lori Brauer: Wednesday December 10, 6-9 p.m.

Making wire jewelry can be one of the simplest and most fun past times you can undertake, and using just a few basic tools and techniques, even beginners can create stunning work.  The gallery wrap, which is a staple in wire working, is a process by which secure loops are formed on a wire or head pin which them passes through a bead or other object and is secured by another identical loop on the opposite end. While simple in concept, quality and consistency of the wrapping isn't always so easy to acheive, which can have dramatic impact on the success of the piece.  After introducing you to the tools Lori will share her secrets for perfecting your wrapping.  If you have an assortment of favorite beads you are encouraged to bring them to personalize your project.
