Chemical etching is a great way to introduce texture, contrast and interest to your metal work, so come and explore the technique in this exciting class. Students will learn how to use a variety of resists including PNP blue, which allows you to transfer any black and white image to your metal for etching . Metal preparation, basic forming ,finishing techniques and studio safety will also be covered. Students will leave with a finsihed etched piece for later use in their work. This is a PROCESS class. One session, 3 hrs.
