This class is a great way to delve into the world of chainmaille. Class will begin with a discussion of basic tools, rings and metal considerations before moving on to the construction of the classic Byzantine Weave. As the foundation of many additional chain patterns, the Byzantine Weave is a must in every chainmaker's repertoire. Basic variations of the weave will also be covered. Beginners welcome. This is a PROCESS CLASS. One session, 3 hours. $55.00 plus supplies (approximately $10 in copper, silver price dependent on market). Tuesday, October 7, 6-9 p.m.
