Forged Twist Cuff with Lori Hart, Wednesday January 28, 6-9 p.m.

Forging, the controlled shaping of metal through the force of hammer blows, is one of the most ancient forms of metal work Join Lori and learn the basics of metal properties and manipulating metal using a hammer, providing changes in form, thickness and graceful transitions in planes. Basic forming and finishing techniques will be covered. No experience necessary. Students will leave with at least 2 completed cuffs. Please note: you will work in copper to learn the basic concepts and to keep costs low, but silver will be available for purchase. This is a PROJECT class.
