If you aspire to do small scale lost wax casting, but investment in a centrifugal or vacuum casting system is currently not an option, then this is the class you've been waiting for. The process uses the heat of molten metal to create steam, which in turn forces the metal into the mold cavity, all of which is accomplished with simple, easy to make tools. On Day 1 of the class, Dave will demonstrate the process, and students will make and invest their models. On Day 2, students will be steam casting their models using the metal of their choice. This a PROCESS class. Two sessions, 3 hours each.
