Kuem boo is an ancient Korean technique for fusing fine gold onto a fine silver surface, and is great way to introduce gold into the work while limiting the expense. Students will first create a unique texture on their silver using a rolling mill before cutting out their pendant shape. Next they will learn the art of keum boo to embellish and enhance their designs. Students will leave class with a finished pendant. Beginning and advanced students are welcome. This is a PROJECT class. One session, 3 hours.
